SVENDSANIA | MUSIC

Rune Svendsen known as Svendsania had his first experience writing music in the early ‘90s. The world of sounds and music became accessible to him through early home computers like the Commodore 64 and the Amiga. He was active in the so-called demoscene, where young people created music video-like presentations called ‘demos’. Today this movement is UNESCO heritage listed in Germany and Finland, calling for a general acceptance and understanding of digital cultures.

Further Rune developed a passion for house- and techno during the explosion of electronic dance music in the ‘90s. He advanced from computer sounds to sequencers, creating electronic music inspired by the British underground scene. With his two mates in Shufflepuck, numerous musical genres and projects were explored over the following years.

After a decade-long hiatus he is back writing music with strong roots in his background from those early computer days. The track “367 Dreams” pays homage to the past, blending 8-bit computer sounds with modern beats accompanied by classic sounds from the 303. Computer music for dark dance floors, play loud.
